It's Olympic!

Come on let's get high! It's Olympic season right now from 27 July  to 12 August. Four years had passed since the last Olympic held in Beijing, China. Having thought of this made me shudder. Where was I and what I was doing four years back? Well, I was 16 back then, doing my form four, had a big fight and cold war with Serene and all I remembered the most was the struggle of juggling the History text book - Kerajaan Uthmaniyah, Assabiyah, Turki and heaps of Islamic history.

Too bad I miss the Olympic 12 Opening Ceremony for I am now here undergoing PM training. All I gotta to do is be very hardworking in getting updates from the internet. And I just started doing so with a quick review during the opening which is certainly worth keeping for its eye-opening, jaw dropping, sophisticated, spectacular and vintage show.

Eyes Wide Open, Heart Deeply Aching

It's 1am now and I am wide awake. As expected yet contradictorily expected it. The reason I am now wide awake is not because of the reason I initially thought - over-excited after catching up with big bunch of friends. It is because of this particular person, who is now I hope, resting in peace : Loo Shu Ern. Never thought her news on her death can have a great impact on me that it is so mind-boggling, at the same time sucking away all my positive energy and making me over-paranoid about safety and eternity on this world. I only have vague memories of her - being in the same uniform unit - SAB Ranger - and knowing her as a jovial person. As I recalled, I hope that I did not offend her too deeply with my sharp words and stern attitude. Tinge of guilt imbued me.

Her death, as I heard from Hoo Keen, was during a mission of releasing turtle in the pristine Tioman Island. The mission consisted of only two Malaysian and one of them was her. Realizing that she too had a soft spot on conserving turtle further ached my heart like sprinkling salt on fresh wound. I vowed too to save the beautiful sea creature from extinction and knowing that another person who once interacted with me had got the same big heart tantamount to me really made felt proud. Proud that she made the step before me. Proud that she cared. Proud that she was aware on the detrimental environment that was endangering the turtle life. Proud that from the little moment I had with her, she had made a bigger moment for herself.

19 July 2012. How coincidentally it was Rupinder's birthday. How oblivious and innocuous my thinking was when I first read on what Hoo Keen posted on her death. I refused to believe and denied the name that I read was someone I knew. The more I wrote, the more my heart ached. I was starting to be paranoid that I messaged Shian Feen on her safety as she was in Seatru Program. And also paranoid on the idea of backpacking with Serene in Vietnam. The shudder intensified when my sister objected the notion by perceiving it as dangerous. That, I kind of agree. We both were still very young and naive, I hate to admit. However, it was close to truth - we both had heart to help the poor and this point was enough for us to be deceived.

Danger gives no odour; gives no warning, gives no insight. Nothing is certain - I learned from The Lovely Bone. Shu Ern's incident taught me that every birthday is important for us to realize that God had actually blessed us another year to continue living. This is one thing I never think of - the meaning of birthday. Secondly, I learn that there is seriously no point hating a person for life is seriously very short and unexpected. It is actually a quote I saw on my friend's fb timeline and I finally feel the gist of the line. Imagine if I were hating the late Shu Ern due to her unruly behaviour in Ranger from the past. I bet I would beat myself up if I knew that I still hate her until 19 July. What the hell man.

I would conclude that I would try to overcome the hatred I am having on Liang Kit and Johnson and also, try to make time whenever there is a gathering. Seriously, all this petty things you might now see, can be something you will regret if you continue seeing it that way.

I shall Thank God now to the utmost for not taking away any of my friends and family member (*touch wood*) and vow to repair the wound I might have caused ( on any relationship ) by chance. I am going to start with LK and J. Wish me luck.

R.I.P. Shu Ern. May God bless your family and friends.

How Comeeeee.....

How comee....I missed the Sushi King Bonanza? It was on 16-19 July and what was I doin? Basking  at home....Hahahah anyhow, I've got no regrets. I rather bask at home =)

How comeee....the author did not ended the story with the tragic and served-him-right death of Mr. Harvey? I was waiting for that, in fact, hunger for that. Disappointed a little, after years of investigation, risky broke in by Lindsey and undying effort of Ruth writing in her journal on her stealth search for the truth of Susie death, the antagonist did not die in a way he deserved. All the efforts seemed to end in vain. But anyhow, I enjoyed a lot the plot and the way the author weaved it. The Lovely Bone made me sacrificed 7 Habits of Effective People and Guinness World Record. I wonder I still have time to compensate.

The trailer really made my heard skipped a beat. Watching everything you have been imagining from the author's words became true.

And how comeeee...I never appreciate this album until the very last minute? All the great songs are embedded in it man! I see you is the latest favourite. Mika you rock man! For your voice is soulful enough that it reverberates my eardrum to the every beat!

Rock and roll....gonna prepare myself for gathering later!

Yawning Afternoon

Okay, facebook is literally annoying, inducing unnecessary self-critic, self-conscious and might cause someone to beat oneself up due to jealousy on friends who are just way too "generous" on sharing their so-fabulous-life with their best look (only can be seen none other than in facebook) which in reality, it hardly mimics them. Another irritating part is that I would have to make myself appeared offline when in fact I am not just to avoid this particular person. Oh come on. Give me a break would you please? Stop asking redundant or rhetorical questions like "how are you today", "what are you doing now", "what you plan to do tomorrow'. Duh.....if you ever thought of tackling me, well, try again next time until one day you realize that you have been asking donkey questions from the very beginning. You've got to be more brainy and improvise yourself with better skill so that you will not embarrassed yourself every now and then.

Now let's get back to my first intention of blogging. Simmer down She Mei. Today is a happy day =)

Firstly, today is the first day of fasting month. It makes me reminisce on those days when I was fasting with Rokiah, Hajar and Pey in matriculation. It was very fun and exciting, challenging at the same time when you reached the peak hour - 530pm. On that time, your stomach would grumble like thunder, your face would turn pale like a ghost, blood practically drained off in your head and you would be stooping and lumbering along the corridor like a haggard old woman. But when it was time for us to break the fast, that was the miraculous moment of all. The food did not appear from tip of the magic stick with a mere swing but we hunted it earnestly in Ramadhan Bazaar. The first thing I would do was quenching the water. Next, would be the scrumptious food. Well, that was my full day fasting experience.

A quick review on what I have done today : woke up surprisingly early (9am), chatted with Mojo - the birthday girl - on phone for one hour literally, apple, orange, chang and three pieces of juicy durians down my stomach, read Lovely Bone for while, ended up sleeping on the bed for one and half hour, woke up and continue reading, washed the toilet, practiced senam seni, and watched The Vampire Diaries.

The reason I said it was a happy day today was because I was embarking on Lovely Bone finally - a book that I initially hesitated to read lest it was some good-for-nothing love story. However, to my surprise and gratitude, I finally found the book I had all the while dreamed for. It was the book that Miss Mas once blabbed in front of the class about a raped and murdered girl who was now watching the life of her family and friends going around on the earth from heaven. From the moment I heard of this, I vowed that I must find the book but, I started with zero clue. I'd got no idea on the title nor the author's name. I only heard of  the rumour on Lovely Bone was a nice book that became the reason I bought it. The first line of the book was intense enough that it caused me to flashback on Miss Mas's words. And it was a real nice book with gentle words yet challenging enough that it constantly stopped my reading to check on the dictionary. Anyhow, it was not about the duration you needed to finish a book, but it was about reaching for the gist of the story.

Another reason of a gleeful day would be because of The Vampire Diaries. I was so desperate to keep myself from falling into the outdated category that I actually arranged "watching drama" in my schedule. I mean, normal young adults do not need to push themselves to watch drama till their eyes popped out right? Well, I'm the queer one, I need to push myself. Watching drama is just like a habit for them that does not applies on me. Anyhow, I am practically diving into fantasy world of having the way too perfect boyfriend like how I was once becoming too obsessed with the ridiculous sleepy looking Edward Cullen. I would say watching The Vampire Diaries would be a total waste of time. The gorgeous looking and glass hour shaped Elena would just make you feel damn bad and double up your workout whereas Stefan who got the boring chiselled face would make you feel ahhhh...typical hot vampire look...boringgg.... but you would just change your mind in a split second when all his heroic stunts and piping hot kissing with Elena emerge on your screen and would leave you screaming desperately for this kind of boyfriend. Trust me. It's always superficial. I only find it damn meaningful when Stefan said "memories are too important". Damn it. I just like that line as it is so close to my heart.

And that is why I have a blog.

Missingggggg all the blast with NVG-ers :)

16 days facebook hiatus. Ironically I am not at all surprise because I am not a facebook addict. But I do feel a little bit empty because life without computer for a young adult is not the norm in this globalized and competitive era. I miss my laptop so much because it has been my solace when nobody is around ;)

The 12 days NVG was very and extremely fun. Every night my room would be erupted with booming laughter, sizzling and piping hot gossip topics, mischievous yet tickling tease and most importantly was the close bonding with Grace, Wana, Chai Hyun, Ying Shin, Angeline, and Joyce. As in this trip really enabled me to know them deeper and erased all the skepticism, past teensy-weensy hatred and misunderstanding.

I never thought that I could have so much fun with Chai Hyun when we were in IKBN hostel. Well honestly speaking I did not want to stay in the room with her initially. My intention was that I wanted to bond with Grace and Wana. I had a lapse of not chatting with Grace ever since SUKMUM basketball, In fact, we did not even chatted cheerfully together in the past until NVG trip. I never know she was such a Miss Giggle that literally giggled especially on the 18SX topic! Never know that she was a caring, funky, sincere, refined and naughty lass at the same time. Caring when she really patiently brought us around Sabah; funky when how she got me dressed in Cotton On; sincere when she praised that I looked nice on those outfits; refined when she knew how to carry herself; naughty when she fooled around with Chin Loong as a sweet NVG couple. In addition, she was also a shy girl just like me, who always try to be humble and not dressing and acting like those who hunger for limelight. LIKE!

Dazzling Grace!

Although I was in the same bureau with Wana, we barely spoke and knew each other. The turning point of our relationship was also only after staying together in IKBN. Wana wa a person who had got her own opinion and always walk the talk. I did not even know that she was Yoon Sang classmate during Form 6. Both were good friends who were passionate to study law but unfortunately, the dream unable to be realized. Wana was very eloquent in speaking. As such her presence brings a lively and cheerful vibe. You will never have to worry of awkward or boring moment because she would be starting a topic most of the time and topic would always be something enticing that you would want to join the talk! Besides, she had the aura that could attract friends, or in other word, amiable, and also obeying her commands. Chin How, who once one an easily to be neglected NVG-er due to his introversion constantly received the limelight during to the trip because of Wana dubbed him as his bear bear.

the family picture : Chin Long and Grace (couple)
Chin How (Wana's son)
Wana (mother)
Me (Wana's daughter - of all sudden )

Chin How whose personality was more refined and delicate as he was from a sibling with four sister and being the youngest one, he was naturally an obedient person. I observed that he did not have any close male friend initially but then came Dick Shen who always had him by his side. He got a thick lips, short eyes, and hair-covered forehead which Wana loved to caress it. His features made him looked adorable and that was the reason the seniors arranged to have him representing Fakulti Kebudayaan. I had a few memorable moments with Chin How when I bluetoothed 90 out of 900++ songs from his S2 and also teased him as Diarrhoea King after having stomachache.

In this trip I also got to bond with Angeline surprisingly :) How did it start? As far as I can recall, it was a random process of us sitting together in the bus on the way to LCCT, all the way when we were flying to both states with S initial until we reached Kuala Lumpur. My first impression on her was that she got the princess aura especially the way she points on something with her long skiny fngers. In my opinion she had got a great body which mainly was due to her big boobs. LOL! That was a asset for real and for that, she was teased as "tai bo lin". Glad that she did not feel offended ;)

I like this photo best! Angeline Ong Ong

In addition, I was also grateful that I could break the ice between Chai Hun and Ying Shin who was my buddy. Chai Hun had a bad reputation in my heart ever since I first saw her and it still did not change even after we had spent every night together =P but I loved her more right now at least. Her only weakness was that she was way too expressive when it came to gossip session. My first impression on her was that she would be a backstabber if you ever step on her tail which consequently she would ruin your college life with her exaggeration and booming voice. Occasionally, you would feel as if her rough voice was lashing and whipping your body. She seriously would blurt out everything without thinking of the consequences. Thus, I disagree on this because I seldom gossip. However, if you know her, she was actually a benevolent and responsible person who would make sure your welfare was tip-top. And there were aptitudes of hers which I always wish to have (in fact I always admired those who had) was that she had got the ability to make people obey to her and also being intelligent. Intelligent as in she was a person who would not be fooled by other easily. Whereas for me, I tend to trust people easily especially after being persuaded a few times. Besides. I would say she was quite a determine person as in she would dare to command people in a determine way so that what needed to be achieved were accomplished. I wonder was it a blessing in disguise or not who her to have such booming voice. I felt good spending time with her, playing around and we even did shared on constipation issue! LOL!!

she looks cute just like a chipmunk!

this is even cuter i tell you!

The Birth of My Baby

TA DA! You are finally here for me to bounce and dunk. I wanted to purchase Molten initially but it was so extortionate for it cost RM229.00. So I bought the cheapest ball - Adidas at RM70 and that was also after RM20 deduction! Hehehe..thanks to Dad's friend, I got it at a cheaper price. 19 July 2012 and let's just wait and see how long it can last.

Today

Ways to get pumped up when you are feeling down,

#1 : Look back on pictures during your happy moment with your headphone on your head, volume to the max till your eardrums vibrate simultaneously with the rhythm of your pulse!

#2 : Or, just stand beside someone shorter than you =)
