My God.. never in my life i felt the rush of adrenaline so high that for one moment my ears were like blocked completely.
Hello, is this Tan Shu May?
Yea, Tan She Mei. ( i corrected her intrepidly, at the same time, i prayed hard that she'll said the magical words, "snow flakes" )
I'm calling from Snow Flakes. ( my heart jumped and my earwax melt in disbelief ) The other day you went for interview for the part time job right? Until September right? ( that's not what i plan =P) So when can you start?
Immediately. ( spasm of doubt hit me. Am i too fast in giving consent? )
Ok so, your shift will be from 10am to 7pm. Start working on Monday. Wear white t-shirt, jeans and sport shoe. Isit okay for you?
Yeap, sure no prob.
And the line ended.
Right after i hang the phone, i feel like screaming out loud! " I got the job! Yes!! I got the job!!," i declared proudly while punching my clenched fist and pranced my way to my dad. Damn ecstatic. It's like a dream come true. Happier that striking the jackpot, quoted my dad. Now i just can't help muahhahahaa-ing!
Muaahhahahahahahaha!!!! SOOOOOO HAAPPPPYYYY!!! Thank God a lot!
Anyhow, since i'm starting work soon, meaning i'll have lesser time for novels, economy books, guitar, foreign language, everything that i've plannned and most importantly my family. My god, counting the days, i've only stayed at home for 7 days, minus 3 days of outing, that would left 4 days and i barely talk to my family. So flushed with guilt right now. But this job is a blessing in disguise. I will appreciate my time more and manage it more properly rather than taking it for granted. Cheers! My holiday will now be more meaningful and compact with fun activities! Cheers again =))))

Finger crossed
Outing with Serene again, the girl with her eye catching burgundy shoe. Seriously, i mean people who passed by her ended up having their eyes looking down.
Outing today was to PWTC for book fair. Not as what i expected. Books were basically ubiquitous, the first floor had all the shelves occupied with Islamic books which we don't give a damn at all so were the second floor. Third floor at least lived up slightly towards our expectations. Most of the books were educational like, for instance, STPM Chemistry, engineering, medical and so on. Gosh, what we were looking for were French books, novels, motivation books and philosophy books. Shakespears was in the list too, but when i opened the first page, i saw plenty of question marks. I felt a punch of failure immediately. It's like an old woman in the wood wandering aimlessly or in other words, i felt like sheer banana but in terms of English. The meaning that lied in every sentence seemed utter elusive and incomprehensible. Mission failed as i was devoid of guts to give a try. Hmpphh...
Our planned next stop was to quench our curiosity over the good-for-nothing-overrated-fame of Justin Bieber Never Say Never that sent much of the naive teenagers to hysterical mood, running their fingers into their hair while screaming at the top of their lungs, causing the whole scene tantamount to when Michael Jackson first touched down on KLIA. Okaayyy the notion of cutting his golden hair off and claimed it as a pledge for charity obviously did not amazed me. But still, maybe there something inspiring we can get from the movie. So let's just give it a try.
After the long walk, which we usually don't moan the distance, but this time we really got ourselves whining like a fat cat cause of yesterday "marathon" till late night, we finally reached. Cinema. For the first time, had let me down on this faithful day. Never Say Never had been replaced by the fresher hit, Thor.Dismay, we shuffled to Snow Flakes to drown our disappointment. Everything happened for reason. Fion's famous phrase echoed abruptly when i saw a notice regarding vacancies in Snow Flakes. Dessert crew, sales manager, you name it! It's vacant certainly at the right time. If not because of the absence of the movie, we will never go to Snow Flakes and never on earth i will actually know that they are hiring. Huhu.. so here i come, spontaneously with no preparation.
I'm here for job interview. That's what i heard myself saying. and they gave me a form to fill up. Disappointingly, the lady in charge said she'll call me later. I'm not hired yet. Still need to be considered. Or maybe she was too busy to interview me that time. I hoped silently. Hmm..hope they'll call me cause i really want this job for i can learn new things and gain novel experience. Working in Pavillion, as a dessert crew of snow Flakes. How proud. I don't mind the low wage, the troublesome travel and hectic working hours cause i know i'll enjoy it to the max. Finger crossed, GIVE ME THE JOB!
Abruptly, Snow Flakes kicked up my mood to search for a job and so we ventured the 1st floor where all eateries garnered. Sticky, Subway, Boots. I'd been intrepid. Kudos to myself *wink*

Time of my life
Outing today with BFF Serene. As usual only two of us and it has always been the most enjoyable outing as i can really be in my own suit, needless to pretend. Prior to Times Square, i was in the train in a total awkward mood for the last time i took the train was three months ago. Spotted a sharped-nose white man with neatly combed hair carrying an enormous backpack with much ease while engrossing himself with a book. I always dream to go for backpack travel. Both Serene and I have always yearn for that to be precise. Yeap, we'll realize it.
We kicked start our day sitting on the bench and chatted like there's no tomorrow. And while milling around the complex, we passed by a kiosk with Magic Club spelled on it. Of all sudden i felt remarkably familiar especially the middle aged man who sat there, looking bored to be precise. "Oh! No wonder!", i thought myself. I'd seen it in Pei Wen's facebook pictures and apparently, that was the Magic Club kiosk established by her boyfriend that she always had mentioned. My beloved Borders which once nestled at the first floor of Times Square besides being Serene and I meeting place had now been transformed to some internal boulevard (another Malaysian "brilliant" idea), occupied with row of western branded shoplots be it garment boutique or exquisite looking eateries which will burn a hole in your pocket. I totally disagree with this new change, well firstly is because that so called boulevard should be designed with our very own Malaysian way instead of having a signpost standing meaninglessly on the walkway with complete western vibe, secondly is because they relocated Borders to the ground floor which is not strategic as before in addition that Times Square which was once famous for having the biggest Borders (two floors) has ruined its own fame by narrowing the size : lesser books in the shelf, restrained mobility, narrower aisle, claustrophobic. Disappointing. Overall, i just don't like the notion.
Later, we went for Baskin Robbins as planned as today is Wednesday pink. Getting another free scoop by showing any pink item. Yummy. Now that i've tried all the exquisite and extortionate ice cream : Swenson, Gelato, Baskin Robbins, Tutti Frutti (and does McDonald ice cream counts? =P) Weird. Lately i've engaged myself to lots of dessert. It's a good thing actually. Previously i have been restraining myself for such indulgence as i felt bad easily by the notion of calorific value. Dumb right? Utter dumb. Now i want to indulge all sorts of desserts. Why not after all? It's life enjoyment that i must grasp it. Little bit of dessert won't cause your weight to rocket.
Red Riding Hood is next. I would give three stars out of five. Average movie i would say. The red cloak was really sexy on Amanda Seyfried (as Valarie). As soon as the movie ended, we headed to Sungei Wang for Serene's shoe and my earphone.
And our day ended happily in Taman Connought pasar malam after an hour of travel by bus and the downpour began to ruin the excitement. So prior to our ecstatic jalan-jalan cari makan, we filled our growling tummy with Bread History fresh bun, crossing our fingers real hard for the rain to stop. And it did. FOOODDDDD!!!! CHOU TOFU, LONG XU TANG, FATBOY STEAMBOAT, you name it, here we come to EAT you. huhuhu...

Just gona fill up my time while waiting for a friend who promised to online at 4pm and i think he got lost in the cyber world ryte now. Its half past four. Hmm..wonder what happened to him.
I've just finished reading a book by Sophie Kinsella who wrote as Madeline Wickham. A little bit off my expectation. Less humour and more to the solemn writing. Nevertheless, it's a good encounter.

The Power of A
A for Avril. Yea that's what i mean. AVRIL LAVIGNE ROCKSSSSSSS.....
No other music besides Jay Chou and Coldplay can cheer me up and pump potent adrenaline in me!
Avril Lavigne i love yooouuuu!!
I still can recall the first song of her that vibrated my eardrum was Complicated, which made me jump on the bed like a mad urchin singing or rather babbling most of the time. Standard Five i guess. I fell for her nonchalant style in carrying herself in the music industry. Under My Skin is my favourite album.
Only her songs can make me scream myself out when im totally down. Kudos Avril, keep the great job in the industry. Will always support you!

Yeap, it's time for unceasing holiday till september! hhuhuu... this time i must recharge myself to the max! I must compensate what i have lost. This time i must make it, high discipline and determination. Well, before i start typing out my plans for this marvellous holiday, i would like to share a story, or a lesson i've learned this morning for one of The star's newspaper article. Meaningful indeed.
It's written by a female, sharing her past distress and how she ended finding her true meaning of happiness. this decent female, or i should say all typical 21th century female including me thought by having a flat abs will make her happier than before. And so to achieve that she invested all her efforts shedding off the bulge and even tried the slimming center. Miraculously, she succeeded, she wasn't happy still but only to find herself in the gloom again. She lamented that she even compelled her husband to change into someone of her desire. And they ended up squabbling and quarreling. She lost her true self, she lost her happiness, she incessantly asked herself whether she is happy or not and why she isn't happy. Then the answer came knocking her brain, she is not happy because she refused to accept who she is.
Upon reading this, pang of conscious hit me hard on my face. I couldn't agree more on what she wrote. In fact, i really have to thank her for shed of cloud of distress which i've no idea where does it emanates from or maybe all this while i'm avoiding to find out.
So after the female unveiled the blanket of fuss and get over it, she became more happy, accepting every single thing about her with open heart and most importantly being her true self.
After all we are still human. Of cause we have weaknesses. But in the article, she reminded us not to focus too much on the black dot on a whiteboard. Open up your eyes and look at the whiteboard, not only the black dot. Though it's a black dot, just accept it.
We just have to accept ourselves fully so that we can embrace happiness. With happiness, we can see a lot of things. Having inverted U on your face all time will only attract more negativity and blind yourself from life enjoyment! I really wanna be happpyyy everyday. So, this article has indirectly injects adrenaline and more courage in me to pursue course that i yearn in university. Forget about what people will say. Just shut your ear and keep taking risks! Against the odd and fly to success. Yea, that's what im aiming.
In addition, Adrian Oo lighted my hearts further. Thanks a lot man. You make me believe in myself more.
p/s : too engrossed till i forget about my plans for my holiday. next post will do. kekeke..

R.I.P. Sai Baba
Sai Baba. If it was not Nesha who introduced him to me during Matrik's orientation days, this name will never come across my mind. His mighty power and gifted ability to heal and resuscitate have gained himself humble fame and numerous followers from the high profile celebrities and prime ministers to low profile peasants all across the globe. Clad with tangerine garment and disheveled hair, Sai Baba has helped lots of people willingly and sincerely besides his undying patience listening to people moans and groans that induce him to have such hair. Though im not his follower, but having to know his faith is certainly distressing for me and even more heartbroken for his followers.
It's time for you to rest. Sincerely thank you for your irreplaceable noble effort.
The End
One year has actually passed. Back now officially in Kuala Lumpur. Making decision to take up Matriculation Programme does not cause a tinge of regret but it has actually open up another perspective towards life. I've learned a lot. Grew up to another level. Gained avalanche of experience.
I've come to realise that life is tantamount to dodgem car. Sometimes we might wonder why does God let us fall. Why we can't have things that we yearn? Why is the world so cruel to us? Why am i facing such problem? The immature us will bury ourselves with our soggy face cursing and blaming on other things just to make ourselves feel better. But think again. All the bruises God give us are actually blessing in disguise that we should appreciate and treat it as a lesson because bruises make us grow, bruises make us ponder, bruises polish our heart and soul in order to survive later.
