CC Trip 2013

Today is a memory; a remarkable one. For one moment, I really think that the room will be flooded by tears. There are way too much of SOB that I see for the first time in CC Trip. Those I went during first and second years were exploded by laughter every where. But this year is the contrary. Tears only start rolling during CC Farewell.

It's true what those seniors once said that the feeling obtained in CC Trip every year would differ. During first year, curiosity, naivety and cheerfulness were the only emotions packed along with the luggage. I could still reminisce moments with Siau Hom; the games we played before; the third year seniors I met and got acquainted; the funny banana cheers me and Kim Sze shared; the sandwiches prepared by Chai Hyun, Ee Ling and gang.

Second year was the year as committee. Tiring and challenging indeed because everyone was juggling academics with CC program in which every one would just want to be in hiatus after MKC. Under the lead of Xiong Yong, we still able to make it till the end.

Third year already...after going through so many challenges, I finally understand the meaning of this phrase >> "It's the process that matters, outcome is the second". Ask me about it, the next time there is a struggle/nasty comment about poor MKC, I'll smack them with this phrase.

This year CC Trip is really a different one.
~ The flow is not exactly like previous years (no plagiarism XP)
~ A group of 26 3rd years attended joyfully
~ Sharing on second night is totally different! Instead of typical blindfolding, they used glow-in-the-dark sticks to illuminate the space, accompanied by KPM's sweet voice as narrator, giving us lots of flash back
~ Couldn't help but agree and inspired by Dickson's sharing
~ Hilariously, we barged in the dinner hall with MKC red shirt, chanting "chai shen dao" song while distributing brown envelope of wishes
~ Performed "qiao qiao gao shu ni"song to everyone
~ played "killer " with whole bunch of third year
~ made me clearly see how hilarious and stupid Dickson's joke could be!
~ third day, leave everyone in tears
~ couldn't help but feeling Dickson's cries were epic!
~ as always, no tears from me.

So much more to say, but no time to write. Let the pictures convey it.

p/s: I dono why, dang it Dickson face and everything keep appearing in my mind.

Fantastic Piggy group!

Saturday Morning

Had meeting with Cik Fizan and ZC regarding NVG - just realized the more solid reason I initially left college was not because of jerk KW; the poor administration that despite how marvellous an idea was thrown to them - just don't seems to be able to work - Cik Fizan was basically venting out all the frustration that had been demotivating her - unique and non-stereotypical work style - when not able to fit in the rigid and mundane environment - led by typical Malays - she would slowly been kicked off or abandoned this place too - and the cycle repeats after En. Mahadi.

Reached room - only to realize - forgotten Genovasi materials was left at home O.O!!! - called Dad - and Superman arrived promptly - slept at 1130am- woke up 6.00am until now - currently pushing myself to be in Quadrant II - doing more important but non-urgent things - suddenly got an idea to ensure I post something in 7SAS to keep it active - at the same time, ensuring myself in QII - continue environmental read.

p/s: like the privacy when Agnes and Vivian are not around.

THE MOST AMEIZING 21 BIRTHDAY!

Turning 21 in 2013 is the best birthday I ever had. Do not know why, but I felt I had a blast man!

Just in the morning itself, prior to Genovasi, Mum made me wine-braised mee sua with two eggs which symbolize birth in Chinese custom.

At night after class, Mum and Sis kindly bought me mini green tea red bean cake, meticulous and considerate enough that they were aware that I had enough cakes since father, Ah Xian and Be Ku birthday celebration.

Another surprise following my arrival in college.

Sweet birthday card from Vivian! I could literally  smell the sincerity as it is truly self-made by using recycled materials =) Nice effort of hers.

Also, I felt very grateful to have them both crazy ones to celebrate birthday for me in previous and this year. Felt truly blissful for Ying Shin sincerity in calling me in the morning to wish me and also Chai Hyun who always race to be the last to wish me.

It's a cake dipped with chocolate just like choco-top McD ice cream and a rose-shaped cheese top.

Unexpectedly on Tuesday, another celebration ensued. This time with beloved Shine Shine study group and peers from ever since first year - William and Shirley. Had my first try out in Chillis with them. It was very sweet of them for treating me this exorbitant meal.

Refillable Mexican chips with tomato gravy!

Sandwich well toasted with fragrant cheese and ham layers.

Deep fried chicken dipped with thickly with honey. The crispiness of the chicken skin is sinfully tempting and it tasted almost like what Yee Shan's mum served last time.

Not forgetting the sweet corn too! I have never eaten such corn which is so sweet and soft yet crunchy and not oily! Its goodness is further accentuated by the spices.

Fajitos! Some mushroom, vegetables and breast chicken sizzled on the hot plate. It is meant to be wrapped in the pita bread, spread with cheese, chopped tomatoes, avocado, mayonnaise and fresh lettuce.

I was too excited to feed all of them the cake that I forgotten to snap a picture of the Chocolate Indulgence and New York Cheese cake!

My two besties from first year! William who always can't help having disgusting topic with him and Shirley who I had been with her throughout her tough time in first year.

And here you go! The celebration mastermind/host - Shian Feen aka UNI bestie!!!

The sampat shine shine gang!

Let's not stop the party! And the final celebration on Wednesday with Siau Hom in UT! She bought me capuccino cheese cake which is also something I would like to try besides New York Cheese!. Thank you Siau Hom aka uni bestie too! It's amazing how we from first year able to maintain the relationship despite not staying together =D

Hahahaha and we had a very DIY porridge-soon-to-be-rice meal! Long bean + tomato + mushroom + some fake vege meat + rice + with too little water >c<

And the last pic is just to show a collection of souveniers from Yu Ching (Taiwan - bracelet), Wuen Chuin (Krabi - elephant keychain) and Shian Feen (Penang - mural keychain).

Thanks for every thing. The call by Fion, Rupinder, Tong Kwun.
Wishes from John, Kenny, Serene, Elena.
All my close friends and acquaintance.

Genovasi Week 3 Saturday Sunday

Finally, I can express myself freely like strong gush of water flowing from mere ripple. I guess I need to start from Genovasi Saturday class.

Saturday class was when we meet our client - Mr Yuen Tuck from RinggitPlus - an organization worked to educate Malaysian on wise money spending. They prepared a platform via their active webpage to provide information as well as comparing the features and offers from various banks in term of credit cards and loans particularly. Frankly, as a person from Science background, I am not that avid on this matter compared to other tasks that need us to invent creative products. I shared the common feeling with Farqhan en route to Genovasi but we decided to face it positively and take this opportunity to learn something different.

Warm up that day was again another brow rising entertaining one. Though the overall attendance for that day was pretty bad, I was grateful that at least Lina, Sham and Alan were with me. So the game was called Action, Freeze, Narrate. Initially, Alan and I were given a situation - we were both in 100 000 feet deep ocean - and then we would have to act out. Lina would be the narrator. For the second round, we both were required to act in within 2 seconds before "freeze" was called out. And once we froze, Lina would have to randomly and wildly create a story on our frozen states. It was really very nice and interactive though it contains austere concept.

During the talk by Yuen Tuck - chiseled face, geekly smart with black-framed spectacles and shoulder length hair tied at the back of this broad shoulder - most of us looked bored, some might had thoughts traveled faraway. I tried to concentrate to elicit and analyze the possible weaknesses and rooms that we could engage for improvement.

Through out the Empathy process on Saturday, I slowly got to bond with Lina and Sham in addition to understand better on their background. Lina, a mother of two, reserved and shy when it comes to speaking in the crowd - a contradiction to her current job: tourism police in Malacca - is active in our group discussion despite facing a little distress upon realizing his husband's wallet left in her handbag. Sham meanwhile, is also from PDRM who seems to have a little difficulties in comprehending to English.

I took liberty to indirectly interview the two police officers on their experience in crime department. Lina who has 5 years working to tackle criminal cases, still wear a bright smile when sharing her experience with me. What I could only recall now is only on her short sleeping hours during investigation period, how much time she has to sacrifice for work rather than her family and coming to Genovasi somehow is a burden for her aside from the travelling part.

Sham told me on a case relating to our national badminton player's relative who is a lesbian. Apparently, the her lesbian partner killed her over money matter by threatening her to leak her nude photos. Ultimately the case was solved but to be honest, I still am not fully convinced on his credibility in solving cases. Perhaps he played a minor role in that case.

So on Saturday, we only achieved to come out with three insights based on the talk earlier.

(1) Gen-Y does not understand financial jargon.
(2) Gen-Y buys on impulse to maintain certain lifestyle.
(3) Gen-Y does not feel responsible for their own financial management because they can still depend on their parents for money.

Prior to presenting our Empathy outcome, we had another exciting warm up which needed alertness, agility and aggressiveness (on body movement). Basically we would have to made certain body gestures and if the same posture was made, we would have to smack our thighs and continue promptly.

We were then dismissed early at about 5pm after having some cakes.

Just to highlight two things before closing this topic:

(1) Farqhan kindly bought a nasi lemak for me which I kept it until lunch hour. It is really not my desire to have another round of breakfast after a heavy one prior to that. And to add on this, I enjoyed myself hanging out with bachelors Raj,Farqhan, Sree and especially Hafiz because we get to tease around, crack jokes and talk nonsense. It feels good, innocuous and relaxing.

(2) Before the class was dismissed, guess who I met? Hazirah - BYEE 2012 Champion who proposed on rainwater harvesting and gain her a golden ticket to Germany. *envy* I can't believe I meet her here! We were both so happy and gleeful to find environmental avid and without further a do, we can't help ourselves teasing the skema-ness of Chuck. Surprisingly too that she has also married. Well, I guess for Malay, married = dating for Chinese. It is super normal to be married at such tender age.

Knowing that she is the winner, it really injects dose of motivation and desire to re-join the abandon fight. I am still deciding on how to execute my empty-plan-with-only-idea/daydream.

At night, I had a scrumptious heavy dinner with Be Ku and family to sort of like celebrate his birthday. Initial plan to go to Sushi King to celebrate my birthday was then postponed. To add to the climax of the night, sis and I voluntarily bought a Tiramisu cake from preservatives-rich Secret Recipe to celebrate his 58 years of glory. It was a warm night to have their family picture taken, singing song together in an antique yet not obsolete furnished house. Indirectly, my birthday was also celebrated too.

On Sunday, the fun has begun. Brindha was still absent and I felt slightly agitated to have a missing member who we will then need to re-brief her from the top. Although in the first group bonding session, I mentioned that we must not leave any member who knows nothing :/ *contradiction* Warm up of the day also test our alertness. Firstly, we should only show our point finger for left hand while an open palm on the right. Following that, one of the coach narrated a story on Life of Pi and whenever the word "water" was mentioned, we would have to grab the our companion's finger on the right, while evading our own point finger from being caught by another partner.

Sanhar managed to join us for today - another member of PDRM. Our mission of the day were to interview as many people as possible in the labyrinth-like structured 1Utama Shopping Mall, gather as much observation and insights and so on. Time was abundant - almost four hours - thus we completed our tasks with ease. What I liked most were:

(1) Getting to hop into Alan luxurious navy blue car that worth RM95k.

(2) Snapped our group picture in a very funky post - as if running.

(3) Further understand on each other background ::
- Sham : a father of two who detest smoking; second eldest among five siblings; independent; a proud brother for his younger sibling who is going to graduate soon; mature; has mother who is also a fan of tupperware!
- Lina : went through hard way in her life; worked five part time jobs during her university time - including a job as road sweeper for DBKL; she actually enjoys it though; studied in UM too at APM; practically did not use PTPTN money at all and allocated all to for her mother's medical treatment on cancer; has a sister who has breast cancer too; is the eldest among her siblings; responsible; sacrifice a passion on entrepreneurship as long as she can get a job from government sector to decrease her burden; met her husband who was also from PDRM; detest gold rings, bracelet, etc - will not opt for materials; realistic and optimistic.

(4) Get to interview a number of interesting respondents ::

(a) tupperware promoter
(b) a relatively old looking Chinese couple with a son (hugging his two large boxes of Panda biscuit) ) - who intend to let his son be financially independent - aware on the fact that feeding his son with constant pocket money will not help
(c) a young and fair skinned mother of two - openly allowed us to interview her despite her two noisy kids
(d) Form 5 student who looked rather mature like a pre-U instead - thrifty despite from a well-off background - intended to study law and every thing seems like a smooth sail for her - without any financial worries for her parents could afford it easily - mature in a way that would opt to stay locally in order to save some money for her two younger brothers' future
(e) an old man, sitting on bench waiting for his wife
(f) a gangster - as described by Sanhar - based on his punk appearance: golden hair spiked towards the middle, wore earring and tongue ring, dragon necklace, a serial number tattoo on hand - if this was true, I was truly fooled then because by judging the way he spoke to me, it was relatively friendly and sincere - the truth was revealed when he had a special way in shaking Sanhar's hand - still unbelievable because he told me he was still a student during the weekend, had penchant for gadgets, wise in spending money, did not believe in credit card advantages, had a very matured gf who was also clothes retail partner - perhaps he is a ma with two faces in which during the day he seemed like guy-next-door, but turned horrifying at night.
(g) a reserved fresh graduate who works as freelance architect currently.
(h) another old man with few strands of white moustache - a little suspicious and wary in his tone as he gave his answer

Warm in the afternoon is more to like picture-guessing concept. I still recalled the last word was "deeply betrayed" in which I would have to draw to depict the meaning. The moral of this game is to encourage more visualization instead during unpacking.

Genovasi Week 2 Sunday

Okay cool its Geno second day. And right now we are in the stage of IDEATE which is after we DEFINE and before we PROTOTYPE it. So here's the golden recipe on how to do it. First of all, we got to question this >>> How Might We. This question is a good tool because it triggers us to think on what are the possibilities available in the universe that we could probably zoom into. It lists out all the available options and enables us to either compare or contrast besides merging the ideas together.

So after HMW, to further refine the IDEATE process, we begin brainstorming using SIX interesting tools.

First one would be body storming. Either you give a fly kick, carry the person after hugging them, bang shoulder to shoulder or skip around with one leg, after doing each of this body movement, you have got to come out with an idea. During this session, Michelle guided us to skip with a leg in a circle and whenever someone reached the whiteboard, an idea must be pasted or else everyone would be stuck standing with one leg. It is truly a gripping tool that make brainstorming so much funner!

Well, silent brainstorming is the contrasting tool of the first one. It requires a person to literally just sit down and think. Hah! This is usually what we do in examination time.

Third is The Power of 10 Rescale. Based on the picture below, from a person's hand >> whole body >> the eagle eye view>> the Earth view of that specific location. Each time you rescale, either enlarging it or diminishing it, something somehow would pop in your mind i.e; ideas.

We have also tool called Associational Thinking in which we select a random word relative to the topic and start suggesting another word which could relate to the first word. The process is repeated until you end it. It's kinda cool because unlike word storm, we have got to make the words related to each other; bear in mind that it is easy to confuse between word storm and this tool.

Next is Nature. Mike explained an example on how a car's design is actually this adorable, cuboid-shaped fish with its eyes you hardly able to distinguish amid the myriad of black "heads" on its illuminated-bulb yellow colour. Pick an animal and start listing out its features and characteristics. Then, try choosing which of the properties you would like to incorporate into your idea.

Another example here was also given when a scientist took his dog for a walk, he realized that there was a type of radial plant like spikes like a spoke attaching his dog's fur. And when he further studied it under the microscope, he spotted the mechanism for attachment and began applying it in his creation. Cool weh! I seriously never thought of it though it is something that revolve in my daily newspaper read.

Besides using animals, we could also use any role model or superheroes and apply it just like the previous example.

Lastly the method is called Time and Place in which we list out what is in the past and present and what you want in the future. It give a clearer direction.

The properties from ideation would be
1) Critical functions: usability, interfaces, interactions
2) Concepts/underlying principles/assumption: in which these three combines to give a message on easy to be engaged.

Moving on to PROTOTYPE process, Mike reminded us that the purpose of prototyping is to test the quality not to sell the product. Thus, in approaching public with the prototype, we shall not include persuasiveness in our speech but merely and naively allow the user to test it and experienced it in all senses.

FOUR prototyping methods are::
1) Sketch ad Doodle
2) 2D Paper Software
3) 3D Simulation/Layout
4) Wizard of Oz

Later on, we were introduce with the steps of prototyping. So by following the steps provided, our team began the planning.

Our penchant is more to "Parking Buddy" in which its like an apps that enables you to book your parking space. Before I go further, just to summarize the ideal prototyping criteria fulfillment would be ::
1) to test and not to sell
2) to allow them to feel/experience the prototype hands-on

So we literally hop into someone's car and asked them to try the simulation despite our borborygmus stomach and tempting McD calling for us, we still carry on. I would say that the response is good! Thanks to a young couple and two young lads. They were truly sporting and cooperative.

Besides the users, I would say that I am impressed with Adila too for her eloquent English. I always faced the same difficulties such that I couldn't express a simple message concisely. I often go long winded and sound like flustering.

Genovasi Week 2 Saturday

I felt a little heavy-hearted to attend Genovasi class today, reason being is because I do not fancy presenting in front of a crowd. Specifically, I hate being in the limelight. I don't know why but I just like to stay behind the crew actually, sort of like to observe, gain input and try to be less opinionated. Anyhow, life's goes on and like what Samantha said, "we cannot always be ourselves". If we do, that means we are selfish.

Ride with Farqhan was cool. We exchanged knowledge a lot on religion topic. Diving into informative and active discussion with someone is something I enjoyed most for I get to dig in deeper on the person's perception. I couldn't really recall on how did the conversation started but overall, the gist of it were::

~ Shi'ah is like another political religion, but more to a side tracked one of Islam based in Egypt and it actually encourages killing among human beings. The concern here is that it slowly intoxicates Malaysian Islam due to abundant of exchange program with Egypt.
~ Jewish and Christian are religion branched from Islam too. Reason being is because in the past, there were many prophets - Allah's messenger - who had ruled a country. Unfortunately, there were variety type of teachings and message interpretation from each of the prophet. Thus, this produced different types of religion: Jewish and Christian. If there is no discrepancy of Farqhan clarification, Islam is the pure religion as compared to both ones just mentioned. A bible cannot and should not be edited and if it does, it is considered illegal or invalid. Thus, this links to Christian who has Old and New Testament.
~ Jewish is more ubiquitous in countries like America.

Upon reaching class, what a surprise and pleasant effort by Genovasi team that they changed the studio as well as some of the coaches. It freshens up everyone with new setting and faces after enjoying two weekends of laid back holidays. Further surprises would be a reshuffling of team members and also additional of group's name and cheers. This time I am with Zubaidah - who surprisingly, I got a "shining" that I would somehow be in the same team with her after a glimpse on her - Adila, the over-reactive girl (just like Ming Yi total contradictory to their age), loquacious, proactive and cheerful UM-soon-to-be-graduating engineering student, Raj again, Shakir - who had his flu today and constantly spotted with myriad beads of sweat, and Elaine - a sweet girl who is doing Accounting and Finance in Sunway University.

The first session after the morning exercise - playing The Invisible Ball which requires eye contact and sound effect as the ball lurched off your hands - was with Mike Connan, a coach who fortunately did not sound like he slurred in his presentation. So what I could still recall was::

1) Empathy. Define. Ideate. Prototype. Test.
2) Refreshed us on techniques we could use in Defining : Journey map, words and stakeholders.
3) Charething which is actually listing out the USER and ISSUES/INSIGHTS.
4) From the issues that we list out, we gonna form a bell-shaped normal distribution curve, which we would highlight the extremes, or the most revolving matters. If I get Mike right, he said that by solving the extreme on the right, it would basically pretty much cover up the rest of an issue.

5) We were also explained on how observation plays an important role to extract information. Some pictures shown to us were like: Genovasi sofa with wheels; red sofa; two different colours of balloons outside the toilet and also Genovasi stairs. It provokes us to ponder with our eyes and squeeze out insights by analyzing the picture.

6) Then create our Point of View (POV) : We met, we discovered that, we aim to help.

This time assignment is about "Redesigning the on-street parking experience".

There was an addition to this time exercise in which we were require to share out Similar Situation that was happening in other countries.

So as usual, we stormed out of the studio to SS2 food court again to fish on aunties who drive. I would truly laud the coaches who are very flexible, capable and bold to use a very unique approach to teach us skills. They are the epitome of influence and proactivity when they demonstrated to us on how an interview should/can be carried out. It made us felt much more confident to do it by our own.

~ Try not to stand while your interviewees are sitting. It might make them feel that you are too empowering.
~ Introduce oneself concisely.
~ Awkward silence.
~ 20/80 rule.
~ Open ended questions. Why? Why? Why???
~ Dig deeper! - ask about experience, one's background, interest, etc.
~ Have a note taker with you.

Besides, great observation skills and methods which was conducted by Mahadzhir, was also a great move. We were all standing under the shade, and as we observed a Malay mum, hand clutched on her toddler, walking at first nonchalantly towards her car, but turned anxious and pressured by us all who were staring at her, he broke it down clearly to us on what was insight all about.

~ By putting in the pictures of her kid and a few education centres a stone's throw away from us, we could infer that, the Malay lady might have just picked up her kid from the centres.

Well, again, I am using my strength to maximize the team's potential in extracting valuable information. Some pretty interesting insights I obtained and I was glad to were::

# Roxanne
~ 30 - 35 years old
~ not entitled to drive though due to disability (which you would not able to judge by her physical) - celebral palsy - which affect her left eye
~ uses public transport practically every where she goes
~ rated 1 (worse) from 5 (best) for public transport service due to much of unnecessary routes before reaching the targeted destination
(insights)
= finds public transport troublesome yet still have to bear with it due to restricted choice of transportation mode, physical disability and also the cheap fare privileged to OKU;
= hasty in order to get things accomplished;
= could not bear spending too much unnecessary time maybe because celebral palsy does not allow her to do so - might engage with some health risk if over-worked.

# Two middle-aged ladies who asked me to come back after finishing her meal
~ no problem in finding parking as long as she comes at non-peak hours;
~ making another round to look for carpark would certainly bear fruits;
~ could not be bothered to pay for the parking
(insights)
= managed to evade penalties for her ignorance on parking fee
= the ladies weren't speaking much, probably she was in a hurry or no interest on us;
= but again, I reflected on myself first whether have I done enough "awkward silent" and "asking open-ended questons".

# 68 years old senior citizen with her two old friends
~ had been driving since 19 years old
~ rated average for her parking experience in SS2
~ no robberies so far; safe
~ will come during non-peak hours
~ for groceries and bank purposes
~ prefer walking to the market since she stays nearby
~ practice carpooling with church friends
~ commented that finding parking space in PJ is way easier than KL; would not choose to drive there because parking is too limited and expensive
~ bad parking experience: encounter with lots of impatient drivers -  driver was impatient that he just barged into the parking space beside her while she was reversing her car - should have waited for her to get off the parking spot then in a way, the driver will also could have two choices of parking space
~ a comparison on the driving habits of past and present generation: in the past, drivers were less rude and impatient
~ nowadays, usually young drivers are impatient and also van/lorry drivers
~ sometimes, she would just tolerate with their impatience
~ express lots of frustration and aggravation as she spoke on those impatient drivers
(insights)
= she is a wary, alert, confident and responsible driver;
= turns defensive/aggressive in finding for parking because other seem to have over-pushed her to do so;
= will plan her journey;
= environmentally aware (carpool);
= enjoys and does not mind driving her friends - love to mingle with her friends;
= a very patient person.

So that were that. After having lunch in Sri Murni (Mee Raja nice!), we had some briefing by Mike again. So this time around, he taught us more crystal clear on EMPATHY. Basically, it is the slot to unpack all the data/empathy that we had collected. So there are actually 7 ways with one as the core of it.

*Empathy Framework Map*

Ahh....now I get a clearer picture on how to use this map. Basically, "say" and "do" are by the respondent whereas "think" and "feel" are what we interpret. And as we unpack, members would have to listen closely, to maybe categorize some of the points into the T, C and S buckets. Also, they can opt to interject the speaker as in to ask why etc.

This is a framework that I like. By placing three main keys into the Venn Diagram, try to further analyze it by looking for the similarities and merge it together! That would help you focus better.

This framework is a little bit tougher due to the parameters that we ought to judge. But it would be a good methodology to weight the intensity of a matter.

Journey map is a little bit more common way but an addition to that would be the insights for each of the points in the journey map.

Stakeholder relationship map is a more relational way to get things connected to each other. It is a discussion on how other people affects the subject.

Hierarchical map is applicable only for certain situation as it involves status difference.

I like this slide because it clearly depicts the message on insight. It is truly a leap from the collected data to the synthesis process.

Mike skillfully told us a story on insight with his animated gestures, wild facial expression and concise and varying intonation. What a great storyteller!

- story on how he fooled his kid - believing on "snip": a type of bird with long beak - first, chatting with friends about snip - overheard by kids - got excited - "I know giraffe, elephant, dog, etc but not a snip - curious - dad, whats a snip? - haha! gotcha - Mike and his friend - wanna see a snip? - take you out to the wood - said that it would only come out only in a very quiet and serene condition - so all of you kids - go out there quietly - wait - if come out - because snip moves very fast - you need to roar on them - coz snip will freeze when someone roar at them - then you can see clearly - kids believe - scampered and scattered around - but "how long would they believing in it?" 30/40 mins? - kids wait and wait - nothing come out - while Mike and pal - enjoy hot chocolate - kids start wondering with the pictures available: never heard of snip, Dad got extra excited talking about it, have waited for 30 mins.... think think and think - and when put all together - " ahh we have been fooled, the adults are probably enjoying and finishing all hot chocolates! " - now thats what insights are.

For our team, we have difficulties in getting our POV done. But then I realise, fail early and often. So, I felt better. Afterall, I am thankful to have lots of coaches that have come to our assistance in getting the POV right. Michelle has been extremely helpful, witty and fast thinking I realized. But I also begin to be more mindful on my own personal weakness: tend to slur/unable to convey a message in simple words.

But anyhow we made it!
