Today. I stayed purposely in UM just for this early morning fervent activity, scaling Broga Hill nestled in Semenyih. Frankly speaking, I did not anticipate anything from this. Neither for the sake of health nor for the sake of making new friends. Okayyyy the second one was rather paradoxical. Yeah, I participated just to make myself feel more secure as in not feeling left out. Knowing more new peers, breaking the stone hard ice for me was essentially though not much alacrity; sometimes in this society we just got to do something to make our future smoother to whizz along.
The scenery wasn't as picturesque as I expected, the sun rise watch did not meet my expectation too. The outcomes of today's activity were getting to know senior Oxy, who was a chubby with rosy cheeks and ever sliding spectacles at his nose bridge, seemed a little bit simpleton and forgetful, not able to recall our names. Senior Run Er was a sweet little girl, looking young that we kept misunderstanding the third year student as second year, fair and petite, with single eyelid that made her looked more innocent. Both the seniors took great care of us providing us ample loving breakfast - Gardenia bread with scramble eggs and seaweed sheets. The part when Oxy lifted my leg to assist me to scale the enormous rock will always in my mind. Run Er sweet smile too carved my memory box.
In summary, Broga Hill was not as challenging as the one in Bukit Segar but at least that trip gained me some new friends : Gilbert, Xing Ping, Chiew Hui, Tian Song and Zen Yi. Glad to meet senior Ze Wen too, who is now second year student of Envrironmental Science and Management and also alumni of Matriculation College and most importantly, mother nature avid just like me. She seems nice and approachable, which give me much warmth, at least I am not lonely for some one is in the same line with me.

Later at around 1130 am, we arrived those seniors' house. We had an interactive activity on sharing our personal experience and feeling on Broga Hill after scrumptious, healthy, satisfying mouth watering vegetarian meal. Inspired To Be Aspired, the title of today post was written so because of what Senior Ze Wen had quoted.
When she scaled the hill in the eerie dark surrounding, shone only by the gleaming moon, twinkling stars and glaring torchlight, all she could see were her own footsteps, step by step, pace by pace, trailing the path spread in front of her like a ragged brown carpet. Yes her mission was to reach the peak safely though conscious of the danger, obstacles awaiting her. But all she knew at that moment was to only focus on the footsteps right now, right in front of her for no matter how hard she tried to peek on the pitch black path lied further in front of her, assisted only by little small light rays, she would hardly notice a thing ahead. Ultimately, working on the the circle of influence, all she did was paid heed on the footsteps she could take right now, and pace by pace, she, still reached the peak, the final destination. This is actually an acronym to our life. Yes, we will be intimidated by the path en route to achieve our dream. But as long as we focus on the task we have right now, one by one we still will be able to make it.
