"Because focus forms your future, it is important to only concentrate on thoughts you want to actualize.
Your reality grows from the seeds you plant. The seeds of your beliefs grow into your thoughts. The seeds of your thoughts grow into your actions. The seeds of your actions grow into your karma.
You are responsible for the seeds you plant, not the results. When you place your attention on the present moment, without attachment to the past or worry about the future, and plant seeds according to your highest intentions, the results will fall into place.
Worry is an irrational attachment to, or fear of, a specific result. While it sounds counterintuitive, the only way you can achieve a desired result is by not focusing on the result; you must focus on your effort—here and now.
You cannot change what is already growing. Instead, start planting different seeds."
This is too true. I must focus on present in achieving what I want and eradicate some of my bad attitudes. Start by neglecting past and future. Focus on actualizing the thoughts.

Feeling Gleeful
Woot! January 2015 already. It's a brand new year and brand new blog post.
As usual, New Year is celebrated with exam-in-mind mode and nothing seems to be liberating as a student. But exam never really stressed me out unless I did not manage my time properly.
This coming Thursday I'll be having Environmental Ethics, Policy and Law at 8.30am followed by Water Management at 11.30am. It's been awhile since I last had two papers in a row. No fear though in fact, that's the liberation I am looking forward to.After Thursday, I'll left with only one subject to deal with.
Both subjects required critical and logical thinking and also something that I am intrigued to cause at least it is not mere memorizing and limiting one's creative thinking. I enjoyed Dr Ghufran ways of making us engaged with the reality world of the water industry in Malaysia whereas Dr Fauziah detailed and dedicated teaching often made me feel left out if I missed one detail from her.
The tension on the shoulder and deep frown on the forehead during revision are diffused by watching the always-jovial Glee drama series. I always feel relaxing and stress-less after pampering myself with it. Glee is great. I wonder whether can we have a karaoke box dedicated with all Glee songs. Grace, Choppy, Chin How and I must be crazy!
Resume for revision. Ciao!

The 5 Vent-outs on Sunday
It's 10 am now 7/12/2014.
A couple of things are boggling my mind:
1) Fundraising plan for Raleigh.
1) Fundraising plan for Raleigh.
I always love outdoor and I foresee Raleigh as a good platform. I need RM4,500 for my 7-week expedition and currently depending on recyclables and donation from people around me. I intend to embark on a few more plans:
a) selling things in USJ City Mall - haven't give a thought on what to sell. Probably will collect some unwanted things which are still in good condition to sell, or make healthy drinks.
b) providing transportation service for students to the exam hall from 29/12/2014 to 15/1/2015.
2) Finish assignment/event brainstorming matter by week 13 and start doing revision for exam from week 14.
I have to attend a pre-expedition camp by Raleigh on 9 to 11 January 2015. The following day, 12 January, 8.30am will be Integrated Pest Management paper. Revision time is at stake if I were to embark on Plan B for fundraising too.
3) Resume writing/job seeking/decision on future path.
Okay this is crucial and also another turning point of life aside from the one I faced during selection of program to take for undergraduate study. Conversation with Dr Ghufran the other day had indirectly reviewed the answer on what I want to do as career. His shrewdness in triggering student to think and review the tiny voice (which the answer to what one has been denying all this while) has left a great impact on me.
The other day while driving, I learn about the difference between instinct- and impulse-oriented action. Driving, a skill I recently master , really taught me a lot of life lesson. While training yourself to recognize landmark and be more aware of your surrounding, one also learn to believe what first come into mind especially when choosing the path to take at a diversion. You have been to a certain location and either you realize it or not, your subconscious mind has already recognize and remember it. But your conscious mind will play a fool with you by the most threatening skill human has - reasoning. Although instinct tells you path A is correct, upon looking at signboard which stated something against what it will lead you to the destination, impulse (which is an action that comes after reasoning) will make you choose path B (which is wrong).
4) December already and it's time for annual reflection.
Annual reflection is a cliche. In fact, we human should reflect every moment in life. Greed is what I always find to be a ghost to me as I do my reflection - greed, to learn a lot of things yet unrealistic for the time is the limiting factor.
Perfectionist and idealistic me are a double edge in my life too. These two attitudes, I have seen it clearly while I manage event. P & I will definitely drive me to come out with a smooth plan for an event, but at the same time make me feel tight in order to get things right. To combat this, I shall prepare a larger pocket of uncertainties.
5) Healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
Speaking of that, I haven't been healthy enough I guess. I receive many comments on my pale complexion on and off ever since second year. I exercise regularly and consume fruits and vegetables daily. What is lacking I wonder? Well, I hate eating eating meat cause I hate chewing hard food. And fish, my favourite meat among all, doesn't look fresh and enticing to me in the cafeteria. Conclusion, I'm pretty picky on food.
I guess my pale complexion is partly a reflection of my mental well-being. I get this comment frequently as I was in the period of managing events and decision-making state. Probably I frowned a lot and looked sombre. Note taken, and I vow to be more relax.
How? Haha listen to Glee's songs!
Sustainable lifestyle. Hmm. Human is hypocrite. The number of cars in Malaysia is in daunting amount; currently ranked third most car country according to my friend. I am one of the contributors. Having a car undeniably gives me lots of flexibility and opportunity. Public transportation's efficiency particularly in the traveling time, still seem to be a far-fetched dream in Malaysia. Thus, driving is still essential in one's life. What I can do most are just encourage carpooling and reduce traveling alone.
Anyway, it's Sunday. Have a good day folks!
I just love camping, with loved one!
Crazily right!
