I'd written these as my post title once. The Power of A, for Avril! Concert day, 18th February 2012 with Serene Liew for the first time in the drizzling weather. It was such a memorable day besides attending my favourite singer's concert, I get to make new friends with two little 15 years old girls. (And they guessed my age is 15 too! Gasp! Young by five years. FB LIKE ;))))) Batricia and Tracia if not wrong, are their name. Batricia, a free hair modern Malay and Tracia, a geeky looked short hair Chinese with geeky big spectacles. Tracia left most mark in my mind till now for she spoke eloquent English, great maturity, and most importantly, knowing what she wants in life. That sneaky girl like magic too and showed some of her tricks too. Hahahaha...bubbly she is. Besides, they both looked adorable when they donned on their plastic raincoat.
It was a so-so concert frankly speaking for she did not sing my favourite song : Fall to Pieces, Innocent, How Does It Feels. The concert started at 840pm. Prior to that, we had a female DJ screeching the big round disc with variety songs to liven up the mood. Although it was drizzling we bore with it till the end of the encore at 1010pm. Complicated as usual, her very first song that gained her fame was sung and also a surprise "Pumped Up Kicks" hits sung by her band which we initially thought was by Foster The People. Godddd...High-ed for some moment.
I still think the best concert is my first : Jay Chou. The only one that made me still high with a wide grin for two days. I can laugh to myself the whole dayyyyyy for it was an exotic experience for a 16 year old girl back then. Eason Chen and Avril's were just moderate, probably they didn't give much gimmicks, variation in costumes and singing.
