Finger crossed

Outing with Serene again, the girl with her eye catching burgundy shoe. Seriously, i mean people who passed by her ended up having their eyes looking down.

Outing today was to PWTC for book fair. Not as what i expected. Books were basically ubiquitous, the first floor had all the shelves occupied with Islamic books which we don't give a damn at all so were the second floor. Third floor at least lived up slightly towards our expectations. Most of the books were educational like, for instance, STPM Chemistry, engineering, medical and so on. Gosh, what we were looking for were French books, novels, motivation books and philosophy books. Shakespears was in the list too, but when i opened the first page, i saw plenty of question marks. I felt a punch of failure immediately. It's like an old woman in the wood wandering aimlessly or in other words, i felt like sheer banana but in terms of English. The meaning that lied in every sentence seemed utter elusive and incomprehensible. Mission failed as i was devoid of guts to give a try. Hmpphh...

Our planned next stop was to quench our curiosity over the good-for-nothing-overrated-fame of Justin Bieber Never Say Never that sent much of the naive teenagers to hysterical mood, running their fingers into their hair while screaming at the top of their lungs, causing the whole scene tantamount to when Michael Jackson first touched down on KLIA. Okaayyy the notion of cutting his golden hair off and claimed it as a pledge for charity obviously did not amazed me. But still, maybe there something inspiring we can get from the movie. So let's just give it a try.

After the long walk, which we usually don't moan the distance, but this time we really got ourselves whining like a fat cat cause of yesterday "marathon" till late night, we finally reached. Cinema. For the first time, had let me down on this faithful day. Never Say Never had been replaced by the fresher hit, Thor.Dismay, we shuffled to Snow Flakes to drown our disappointment. Everything happened for reason. Fion's famous phrase echoed abruptly when i saw a notice regarding vacancies in Snow Flakes. Dessert crew, sales manager, you name it! It's vacant certainly at the right time. If not because of the absence of the movie, we will never go to Snow Flakes and never on earth i will actually know that they are hiring. Huhu.. so here i come, spontaneously with no preparation.

I'm here for job interview. That's what i heard myself saying. and they gave me a form to fill up. Disappointingly, the lady in charge said she'll call me later. I'm not hired yet. Still need to be considered. Or maybe she was too busy to interview me that time. I hoped silently. Hmm..hope they'll call me cause i really want this job for i can learn new things and gain novel experience. Working in Pavillion, as a dessert crew of snow Flakes. How proud. I don't mind the low wage, the troublesome travel and hectic working hours cause i know i'll enjoy it to the max. Finger crossed, GIVE ME THE JOB!

hope i can don the uniform

i wanna make that!
Abruptly, Snow Flakes kicked up my mood to search for a job and so we ventured the 1st floor where all eateries garnered. Sticky, Subway, Boots. I'd been intrepid. Kudos to myself *wink*
Sticky! Vintage candy, akin to our chinese Ting Ting candy
